TWR FLORIDA

Daily Discussion 07/18/2019 – East to west oriented surface high pressure axis was lying across the central peninsula while an coastal induced trough was generating showers just offshore the east coast of the peninsula. By late morning the east coast sea breeze will develop and initiate scattered showers and thunderstorms over the eastern zones. Slow east to west steering winds will push all activity over the central and western half of the peninsula by late afternoon. Current east coast offshore convection will gradually diminish as they near the coast due to the developing sea breeze circulation.
