Florida Weather 7/3/2017

Visible satellite imagery over Florida reveals scattered cumulus clouds developing as day time heating increases across the state.  A combination of upper level high pressure ridge axis over the state and relatively lower moisture will limit overall thunderstorm coverage for today.  A few showers and thunderstorms will develop along the east coast sea breeze as it moves inland.  Steering level winds are overall light so a majority of the late afternoon and evening activity will accumulate across interior sections, especially near the I-4 corridor where an old boundary and pockets of higher moisture exist.
