Florida Weather 10/18/2017

Visible satellite imagery shows widespread cloud cover across much of the state.  The only exception is extreme northern Florida and tha Panhandle where much drier air exists.  Strong high pressure centered over the Mid-Atlantic states and a weak frontal boundary across central Florida has combined to produce a strong pressure gradient, breezy ENE to WSW winds and scattered showers across central and south Florida.
