Satellite Weather 03/15/2019

GOES EAST satellite imagery over the continental U.S. The low pressure storm system that produced blizzard conditions and tornadoes is now centered north of the Great Lakes while the cold front stretches across the southeastern U.S. Note the very thin line of clouds known as a rope cloud over the Gulf of Mexico. This line of clouds marks the cold front. This front will be the source of unsettled weather across the Florida peninsula over the coming days.
