download (8-16-18)

Satellite imagery over Florida shows a continuing the trend of drier air moving east to west from the western Atlantic.  The surface ridge high pressure ridge can be seen by tracing the low-level cumulus clouds over the ocean and developing over the peninsula.  The presence of drier air will reduce the coverage over showers and thunderstorms developing along the sea breezes.  The highest moisture content and coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be over north Florida and panhandle regions.
