GOES EAST GeoColor satellite imagery over Florida. Remnants of front and upper trough was lying east to west across northern Florida. A combination of sufficient moisture, diurnal heating and sea breeze development will generate scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. West to southwest steering level winds over the southern two thirds of the peninsula will push activity towards the east and northeast. Activity across northeastern Florida will travel towards the west southwest.
