GOES EAST GeoColor satellite imagery over Florida. Remnants of upper level trough still located east to west across northern Florida and Gulf of Mexico. A combination of sufficient moisture, diurnal heating and sea breeze development will generate scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Weak west to southwest steering level winds the peninsula will push activity towards the east and northeast. Activity north of the trough axis, across northeastern Florida, will travel towards the west southwest.
