GOES EAST GeoColor satellite imagery over Florida. A combination of sufficient moisture, diurnal heating and sea breeze development will generate scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. A majority of the activity will be over inland areas with very slow movement towards the east. Note the sharp drop off in clouds where lower moisture content exists.
