GOES EAST GeoColor satellite imagery over Florida. A tight moisture content gradient exists with high moisture along the east coast and Atlantic and lower moisture over the west coast. Diurnal heating and sea breeze development will generate scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. A majority of the activity will be along the east coastal waters this morning then over east coast inland areas along the sea breeze during the afternoon.
